“Connect the Dots of Your Circumstances”
Esther 9-10
- IF YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF GOD IS TOO SMALL, YOU WILL LIVE WITH CONSTANT FRUSTRATION AND CONFUSION.

- GOD IS ALWAYS MOVING TO BRING HIS CONCLUSION ABOUT AT THE RIGHT TIME (ESTHER 9:1-6, 11-19).

- DON’T GET RID OF PART OF THE SIN YOU’RE DEALING WITH; GET RID OF ALL OF IT SO THE CANCER OF SIN WON’T COME BACK ON YOU LATER (ESTHER 9:7-10).
- When we have done what God has called us to do, and we see His kingdom program achieved, we can celebrate His power and providence (Esther 9:20-32; 10:1-3).
- The celebration of Purim was for the Jews to remind themselves that God was a providential God.

AND PEOPLE TO ACCOMPLISH HIS ULTIMATE PLAN.

- WAITING ON GOD MEANS WAITING ON HIM TO PUT
THINGS TOGETHER THE WAY HE WANTS THEM TO BE
(ESTHER 7:1-10).

- WHEN GOD IS READY TO MOVE, HE CAN REVERSE THE
MOST IRREVERSIBLE CIRCUMSTANCES (8:1–17).

God doesn’t always give this kind of a “happy ending” to everybody’s story. Today, not all faithful Christians are promoted and given special honors. God hasn’t promised that we’ll be promoted and made rich, but He has assured us that He’s in control of all circumstances and that He will write the last chapter of the story. If God doesn’t promote us here on earth, He certainly will when we get to glory.

So What?
The real test of any teaching is: Does it strengthen a man to bear the burdens of life, and to walk in the way wherein he ought to go?”
If we put these things together—whether or not there is a straight gate in the message, whether or not the unpleasant themes of sin and judgment are dealt with along with the message of God’s great love and grace, whether or not there is real and satisfying fruit as a result of such teaching—then we have a way of discerning truth from falsehood and of giving attention only to that message which comes from the Lord.

When disputes arise between believers, they should be settled in the church before members who can decide the matter.
